Profile

Dr Yu HAN

Research Fellow

Dr Yu Han has earned her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in 2020. During her PhD, she worked on the topic of “Research and optimization analysis of steam ejector based on automobile exhaust heat cooling”. She has experience working with mechanical design, thermal and fluid simulation and experimentation under vacuum as well as ambient condition.

Upon completion of her PhD, Dr Han started working as a Research Fellow at Northeastern University on the topic of “Low grade waste heat driven thermal system design for ejector refrigeration system”. At CARES, Dr Han was working on the development of highly efficient and compact heat exchanger development for marine application. Her work included the development of a new, highly efficient and compact heat exchanger, its design, simulation and experimentation.
