Profile

Dr Emily LLOYD

Research Fellow

Emily obtained her MSci in Physics from the University of Birmingham in 2016. In 2020, she went on to complete her PhD there in the Nuclear Physics group on "Multi-Strange Baryon Production in p-Pb Collisions with ALICE at the LHC". She then worked as a software engineer for a CAD/CAM software company, before joining CARES as a Research Fellow in July 2021.

While at CARES she worked on the Cities Knowledge Graph project. Her research focused on the development of the City Energy Analyst agent which allows the automation of building energy analyses by retrieving the required inputs from the knowledge graph, and updating the knowledge graph with the results of the simulations.
