Dr Laura PASCAZIO
Laura received the BSc degree “cum laude” in Chemical Engineering in 2012 from University of Naples Federico II (Italy), and the MSc degree “cum laude” in Chemical Engineering in 2014 from the same university with a final project in the field of Renewable Energy. She completed her PhD program in Industrial Product and Process Engineering at University of Naples Federico II (Italy) in 2017. The focus of her doctoral studies was the soot nanoparticle formation in flames using molecular dynamics.
She worked as a Research Associate at University of Cambridge in the Computational Modelling group from November 2017 to March 2020. She has been working as a Research Fellow at CARES since March 2020. Her main research interests are in the field of combustion, in particular with regard to the investigation of the complex mechanism that lead to nanoparticle formation during combustion processes using computational methods.
