Gabrielle ONG

Research Assistant

Gabrielle Ong Shue Ting joined the CLIC workgroup in August 2023. She graduated with a First Class (Honours) degree in Psychology from the University of York (UK), with a specialisation in memory and neuroscience. She started working at the University as a Research Assistant at the York Episodic Memory lab during her undergraduate years where she explored the formation of episodic memory in adults.

Upon her arrival back to Singapore, she continued working as a Research Assistant at the National Institute of Education (NIE) on several Knowledge Building projects. One of which investigated the use of Knowledge Building, as a pedagogy, in creating self-sustaining communities among educators. Through her work in projects, she has authored and co-authored several articles in diverse topics like memory, propositional logic and education (Knowledge Building).

Her interests lie at the nexus of memory, neuroscience and learning.
