Profile

Dr Karam HASHEM
Research Fellow
Dr Karam Hashem's research focuses on computational catalysis and reaction-network thermochemistry, using quantum-chemical and atomistic modelling to study catalytic reaction mechanisms, active-site behavior, bond activation, transition states, and selectivity in biomass conversion, oxygenate transformation, alcohol/polyol upgrading, and framework- or surface-supported catalytic systems.
