Speaker: Dr Dave Allen (Global Business Development Director at Stepan)

Biography: Dr Dave Allen is the Global Business Development Director at Stepan Company, focused on developing strategies to expand the surfactant business into new or adjacent markets. In a previous role at Stepan, he was the Functional Products Technical Director, focused on product development for the agricultural, oil field, and construction markets. Prior to joining Stepan, Dr Allen worked in the specialty chemical / pharmaceutical industry in Process Research and Development for Monsanto, Great Lakes Chemical, NutraSweet, and Albany Molecular Research.
David Ho is the General Manager for Asia Pacific Surfactants at Stepan. David is responsible for the Leadership of the Surfactants business unit in Asia. David has previously held commercial leadership roles in the Specialty Chemicals industry in markets such as Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Semiconductors and Oleochemicals. David has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons) Degree from the University of Sydney as well as a MSc in Management from the Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
