Profile

Dr Manoel MANUPUTTY

Research Fellow

Manoel graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2014 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Materials Science). He joined CARES as a Project Officer in 2014 and subsequently joined the Cambridge-CARES Studentship scheme where PhD students would spend a year in Cambridge before continuing their studies at CARES.

Manoel completed the scheme in 2019 and obtained his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Markus Kraft. His PhD thesis was titled “Morphology and polymorphism of TiO2 nanoparticles prepared in premixed stagnation flames”. He then joined Nanyang Technological University (NTU) where he was a Research Fellow working with Prof. Xu Rong. During this period, he was based in the Research wing of the CREATE Tower working on the C4T IRP 3 programme until June 2022.
