Professor Katharina KOHSE‐HÖINGHAUS

(C4T) Professor of Physical Chemistry, University of Bielefeld

Professor Kohse‐Höinghaus is internationally known for her contributions to combustion diagnostics using laser spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Besides combustion chemistry, her research is devoted to the deposition of functional materials from the gas phase and the in‐situ analysis of reactive systems. She has been a Professor of Physical Chemistry at University of Bielefeld since 1994. In 2018, Professor Kohse‐Höinghaus received the Alfred C. Egerton Gold medal of the Combustion Institute and has been a member of the European Academy of Sciences since 2017.

She was a Scientific Advisory Committee member on the C4T project.
