Profile

Dr Ahmed ELBANNA

Research Fellow

Dr Ahmed Elbanna is currently a Research Fellow on the HYCOMBS project with Prisme Laboratory, where he investigates flame–wall interactions in turbulent ammonia combustion using advanced optical measurements. He earned his Ph.D. in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2023, focusing on dual-fuel combustion and stability analysis. He later worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), studying ammonia-based combustion, spray dynamics, and dual-injector engine experiments.
