Prof Markus Kraft, CARES Director, Co-Chairs session on soot and nano-particles and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Proceedings of the Combustion Institute, at the 36th International Symposium on Combustion, 31 Jul – 5 Aug 2016, Seoul, South Korea.  Two papers from IRP3: Carbon Abatement in the Petroleum Refining Industry: A Control and Optimisation Research Network (CAPRICORN) have been accepted.

The biennial International Symposium on Combustion is the major meeting of members of the Combustion Institute, it provides a scientific venue for sharing ideas and experiences on the applications of combustion.
