Profile

Dr Ari FISCHER

Research Fellow

Dr Ari Fishcer earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley (2021). His doctoral studies entailed experimental inquiries into mechanisms behind metal-catalyzed hydrogenation reactions and the synergies between metals and metal oxides.

He was a researcher at Nanyang Technological University (2022-2024) and at CARES (2023-2024; 2025-present). At CARES, he applies multi-scale modelling, computational chemistry tools, and mechanistic inquiry to make chemical processes more sustainable.

Dr Fischer also posts educational content on his personal blog (https://ari-fischer.github.io/site/). There you can learn about tools he has developed to convert kinetic simulations into music.
