John Atherton completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering with the Computer Modelling Group at the University of Cambridge. His PhD was funded by Shell.

John has a background in electrical, power, software, data and chemical engineering and project management. His focus was on computer modelling of power systems and digitisation.
