Timothy LEE

Research Associate

Mr Timothy LEE joined CLIC on 17th June 2021 as a Research Associate. As a member of the School Workgroup, Timothy has helped with the execution of CLIC's Work Package on the characterisation of Cognitive Flexibility (WP0.1), particularly in relation to adolescents. This includes organising equipment and setting up computerised tasks for data collection with adolescent participants in the lab and in schools, as well as data preparation and analysis. Timothy has also supported the school workgroup's continual engagement with schools, co-leading workshops on the connection between neuroscience and psychology research on executive function and educational practice. In addition, Timothy played an active role in coordinating data management and sharing across CLIC as a member of CLIC's Data and Communications workgroup.

Timothy joined CLIC after a brief stint in Singapore's professional education sector and earning his MS in Learning Analytics from Teachers College, Columbia University. With his background in education, he finds CLIC's active engagement with educators and contribution to the enhancement of learning across Singapore society to be the most meaningful aspects of CLIC's work.

Timothy left CLIC on 30 September to take up a position at the National Institute of Education Office of Education Research, where he hopes to continue the work of connecting academic research and educational practice.
